“When I Saw You There,” was written by Michael Shannon Shelby after a friend of his passed away at 38, during the pandemic.

Shannon shares, “I was very inspired by the faith of his wife, and from watching his journey from this life to the next, through her eyes. I put many personal memories from my own life and my 17 year marriage into this song. It culminates in the ultimate promise that the best days are not behind us. For a Christian, the best days are yet to come! I pray this song is a blessing and an encouragement to those who are eagerly awaiting and anticipating meeting their loved ones again in Heaven.
